Harp Girn is the Vice President of Global Partner Solutions (GPS) at Microsoft Canada. He is responsible for leading a diverse, cross-functional team whose mission is to empower Microsoft’s partner ecosystem to innovate, drive growth, and help Canadian businesses achieve their full potential through the adoption of Microsoft technology solutions.

As a proven transformational leader, Harp has over 20 years of experience at Microsoft and has held many leadership roles across sales, marketing, and strategy. In his most recent role, he was the Vice President of the Small, Medium and Corporate Division at Microsoft Canada. His team of dedicated professionals was focused on driving growth and economic success for Canadian customers through the delivery of Microsoft’s Cloud, Data & AI, Business Applications, Modern Workplace, and security solutions.

Harp believes that human centric leadership is fundamental to building trust for future growth. Harp is the Executive Sponsor for the Asians at Microsoft Employee Resource Group and is both an advocate and ally for creating a culture rooted in diversity and inclusion. Harp is also an active mentor for aspiring professionals and is the Executive Sponsor for Microsoft Canada’s Management Excellence Community (MEC), where he helps managers strengthen their abilities, create connections, and grow their careers. 

A graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University, Harp completed his BA and obtained his CMA-CPA designation in 2005. Harp has been recognized for many of his achievements, including the 2015 Bill Gates Chairman’s Award at Microsoft.

He resides in Mississauga with his wife Sharon and three kids Jaiden, Karina and Dylan.
