Canadian Leadership Team

Wendy Braithwaite is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Microsoft Canada. She is responsible for providing financial leadership to the subsidiary, drives shareholder value, and plays a critical role in key strategic growth and profitability initiatives as well as the organization's efforts to maintain a fully compliant culture.

Wendy has years of extensive international industry experience in technology, hospitality, payments, financial services and oil sectors across Toronto, New York, and London. She has been at Microsoft for 3 years, previously holding a FP&A Finance Leader position for Canada, where she successfully evolved the function and brought outstanding talent to the team. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Oxford University, active CPA licenses in Canada and the US, and is a member of CIMA, UK. 

Outside of Microsoft, she advocates, promotes and supports meaningful and equitable employment of persons with disabilities, through her active involvement and board membership at the Canadian Council for Rehabilitation and Work, a not-for-profit organization.

Wendy resides in Toronto, Ontario and enjoys reading, playing board games, enjoying city life, and spending time with her husband and two children.
